Change Plex server App directory
Plex server installs to appdata by default:
- C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server
To change the install with all the database files shut down plex server and plex update service.
Copy the Plex Media Server folder to the new location.
Create or import the following Reg key with the new location as the string:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server]
"LocalAppDataPath"="E:\\Plex\\"
Restart computer
